Wow, it's been a month since my last blog post. The day I announced my birthday giveaway winner. My last update post doesn't count! ;) My winner Jaclyn Rose got her package not even a week after I announced it cuz I sent her package via express. I'm glad I sent it before I started helping my friends with their weddings. I'm in so much stress! just thinking about being in a wedding and planning it at the same time makes me want to eat a dozen of cupcakes! I feel like I'm the one who is getting married! I'm starting to hate weddings! Hehe ^_^ Being a Maid of Honor sux! JK ;)

Last week, My best friend's grandmother passed away from Brain Cancer. I felt so bad cuz she was hoping that she can make it through her wedding. I was the first person they called when she passed away. I was very close with her grandma and I'm her favorite friend :*(

I decided to take a little vacation to help me relax and free of stress. I only get 3 or 4 hours of sleep everyday which is not healthy. I also want to spend time with my hubby cuz its been a while since we last spend time with each other. I will be back after all this wedding Stuff is OVER :)

Oh before I end this post. I have a late mini hauls. Geez.. I really miss doing hauls and swatches :) It's 1:22 am right now so its way too late to do swatches. I hope you guys enjoyed your summer! Bye :)

I had been watching the news since this morning since I found out that Farrah Faucet (RIP) has died. I'm a news freak so I watch the news all the time. Then all the sudden a breaking news! Micheal Jackson was rush to the hospital due to Cardiac Arrest.

My whole family is a big fan of MJ so I kept watching to learn more details about him before I start calling my family. First, they said he was ok but he is still in a COMA. Few minutes later, they confirmed that he is dead! :*( I was crashed! One of My Childhood Idol is gone.

On Sept 18 2008, My Hubby and I got really bored so we decided to go online to do some Karaoke. My Hubby is a good singer but I'm not. I sux at it but it didn't stopped me singing one of my favorite MJ's song. My favorite song of MJ is "BEN" and I'm glad I save this voice recording of me singing it. Warning! I'm a terrible singer but I hope to bring a smile in someone's face. HEHE. Well, It cheered me up and its just for fun. Hehe

I am now a BIG FAN of Boys Over Flowers!!! ^_^ I watched the Korean (twice) and the Japanese version. I like them both but I like the Korean version a lot! I just love Jun Pyo and Jan Di! They are so cute together! Ay... They make my heart melt! I love this show so much I downloaded the soundtrack! ^_^

This is probably an old news to my fellow filipino bloggers but is new to me. Hehe. I was watching a video in youtube last night called " The Buzz" (an entertainment news show from Philippines) and they were talking about Sandara Park. She's a korean actress and singer in the philippines but she went back to South Korean last year to try and see if she can also become famous over there. Well, She did it and I'm proud of her! Hehe :) She's a member of a girl group called "2Ne1" and she changed her name to DARA. I love their song called "Fire" :)

Eki's Cosplay Contest!

When eki announced her contest i was so excited cause I thought it would be fun to do. I tried differents anime looks on me but i ended up looking like a drag queen. So i asked eki if i could use my cousin as a model and i was so happy when Eki said YES. My cousin was excited because she'd got to dress up but wasn't so excited when i told her i was gonna do her make up (she doesn't like putting on make up).

My cousin is only 15yrs old so I decided to do a SCHOOL GIRL ANIME look but I didn't want her to look too cute. I don't want her to look younger than her age so I made her look like a rebel school girl. hehe.

We couldn't go outside because it was raining so I decided take pictures inside our bathroom because it has better lighting. Hehe. The outfit that she's wearing are my old clothes from high school including the shoes. (Gosh! I wish I could be that skinny again and fit in those clothes! Haha.) I almost donated this clothes last month to GOODWILL but I'm so glad I didn't. I was thinking about retaking this photos and make her wear a top with shorter sleeves and a blazer but it looks weird with the wrist gloves. I love the wrist glove she's wearing so I decided to stay with the quarter sleeve :) She wanted to wear a Neck TIE but I like the black ribbon better ;)

I didn't use my SLR camera because when I was taking this pictures, I was standing in top of the toilet and bathtub. I was scared to use it cause I might drop it so I just borrowed my mother's cam. i think I need to buy a small cam :)

Makeup

I made sure her makeup is very light cause I want her to look like her age. I gave her a simple light smokey eye, a light touch of blush, highlight her face with MSF, light pink lipstick and gloss.

Memorial Day Weekend

I had a awesome weekend! My cousin and his friends came to MIAMI for the memorial weekend vacation. They arrived Thursday Night here in Miami and left Monday Afternoon.

I'm not going to use their real name to protect their identity but I will give you a little details about them. All three of them are Physical Therapist. My Cousin and J are both gay but not a couple. Cousin and K are both from New York City. J is from Chicago and he's thinking about moving here in Miami.

J decided to upgrade their regular room to a State Room so my hubby and I can stay with them. He asked for a Penthouse but I guess is not available so we got the State Room instead. Gosh! I wonder how much he payed for it. The hotels in Miami Beach are way too expensive during the holidays so I really want to know how much he payed for it. I was too embarrass to ask him :)

The weather was kinda bad for two days so my hubby and I decided to showed them around town. We took them to Bayside, Dolphins Mall, and Downtown Miami. We did a lot of shopping too but I didn't buy anything special ;)

We ate every 3 hours! No joke! Hehe. The most expensive place we went to was CASA TAU which is an exclusive italian restaurant. I feel like a millionaire eating in that place ;) Just me and My hubby cost us $240! I decided to pay for it instead of my hubby since he payed for all of us when we ate at the Aura Restaurant.

I never seen Miami Beach so crowded since I moved here 4 yrs ago. I think its way too crowded for me but I had a great time. I also had a great time Car watching since I had to walked 17 blocks to my car. Hehe. I never seen so many Lamborgini and ferrari in my entire life.

Hope you all had awesome Memorial Day Weekend like I did.

Two weeks ago, my Samsung Digital Camera decided to stop working while I was in church attending a wedding.

I was so piss!

I was asked by three of my hubby's cousins to do their makeup for the wedding. They liked how I did my makeup that day so they asked me to do theirs. I didn't even get a chance to say "yes" or "no." They immediately went to my Makeup room and start telling me what they want their makeup to look like. I was nervous but I did it! WE received a lot of good compliments about our makeup. I felt so loved and proud of myself. I had a great time at the wedding but part of me felt so down because of that damn camera. I didn't even have one picture from that wedding! And I wanted to take pictures of the makeup I did with the girls.

For some reason, my camera's don't last long with me! Just two years ago when I went to NEW YORK for two weeks vacation. My Canon decided to stop working as soon as I landed in LaGuardia Airport! Thank goodness I got my Samsung as a backup!

anyway, I can't function without my camera because I love taking pictures of anything I see that is interesting to me. Yea, I know I'm a little weird

So five days ago, I went to Best Buy to go camera shopping with my cousin and hubby. I was planning on buying a small digital camera but I end up buying a Digital SLR. I read a lot of good things about Nikon D60 when it was release a few years ago.

So I decided to buy it! I stayed up all night playing around with it and in exactly 3 am. I found out that it doesn't take video. I thought this was the Nikon SLR that takes pro photos&video but I was wrong. The Nikon Digital SLR that takes videos are the D90 and D5000!I was so upset and I woke my hubby up in his sleep and told him the bad news. We went back to Best Buy the next day and we exchanged it.
First, I was looking at the D90 it cost $999 so I was like nah! Too expensive! Then I saw the new D5000 SLR for $850 and this was release a month or two ago. I thought it was still too expensive but is $149 dollars less than D90. Hehe. So I bought it!

CCO and MAC Haul

CCO HAUL

Well, It's 2:14 am and I can't sleep so I decided to post my MAC Haul.

This is all I got from the CCO because I realize that I had been spending so much money on makeup lately. And my makeup collection is growing so fast that I'm afraid I won't be able to use them all. I want to collect slowly. Hehe.

My CCO got a lot of new MAC stuff that came in this weekend. They have the two jewel pallete from the Christmas Collection which I didn't like at all. They also have the Wisteria Eye Trio from Dame Edna Collection. And they have two palette from MAC Nordstrom collection that came out few months ago but I forgot the name.

They had a lot of MAC single eyeshadow! I think I counted 30 eyeshadow?

I had been wanting to get Stars N' Rockets for a long time now but I keep forgetting to buy it. I always get distracted by the display of the new collections. After swatching Expensive Pink for so many times I decided to get it. Hepcat is so pretty!! Love it!

Stark Naked blush is from the MAC Red She Said Collection. This blush is soooooo Pretty!!!!!!! They also have another blush called "Enough Said" which is also from the same collection. Sweetness blush looks exactly like MAC HK blush "Tippy" I might return it since I already have Tippy.

Snob (satin) Lipstick looks exactly like MAC Saint Germain from MAC Sugar Sweet Collection. I should return my Saint Germain lipstick! ;) Overrich (glaze) lipstick is like a dark version of Lollipop Loving :) It's kinda like a orangey/peachy color?

We went to two malls that day which is good because one has a CCO and one has a MAC counter :)

MAC Cosmetics

The only reason I went to the MAC counter is to get "Girl About Town" lipstick but they were sold out! I was really sad so I had to buy something to make me happy :) I bought two cremesheen lipstick "Shy Girl" and "Lickable."

I started working with this post since 2:14 am and its now 5:12 am!

I need to get some sleep -_-

"Holiday" Lippmann Collection is a glittery bright red. This is my favorite red nail polish! I use this a lot!!!!!!! This is my second Bottle :)
"Rich&Famous" China Glaze: This is a perfect dupe for "Something About Pink" from MAC HK. Gotta Love pink polishes!
"Peppermint Patti" MAC is a light minty green color. Duh!? Hehe. It reminds me of a Tiffany Box! I just love the color of this nail polish. Love! Love! Love!
"Baby It's Coal Outside" O.P.I is black with silver glitters. My mom loves this nail polish and so do I. She's a bad ass mom! :D
"Creepy Groovy" Goldie is a dark plum color. I had been looking for a nail polish in this color but I can't find one. Until one day I went to Bath & Body Works and found this. I was so happy!

1. MSF "Refined": I was going to get the "Perfect Topping" but its too light for me. My MAC counter was sold out of "Refined" so I didn't get to swatch it but I still ordered it online. I'm so glad I got this cuz I'm inlove with it! :)

I went to the mall friday night with my cousins to find a red outfit for the 40th Year Anniversary/Wedding of my hubby's Auntie. I decided to check out the MAC Rose Romance Collection before I start shopping for clothes. I was only going to buy Mutiny because Circa Plum looks kinda like Mauvement which I already have. Then an hour later, I decided to buy "Circa Plum" so I can take it home to swatch it right next to Mauvement.

Circa Plum is like a Dark Purple color with a rosey/pink colors? Plum color? haha. Sorry, I'm not really good on describing colors. Its a very pretty color and is perfect for everyday looks so I guess I'm not returning it :) Mauvement is a brownish bronze color and this is one of my favorite MAC pigment but I think MUTINY is going to be my new favorite for now on. :D

I'm so excited! My MAC Pigment Collection is growing :)

Anyway, I was so excited to see my MSF "REFINED" and it looks pretty. I can't wait to use it and add it to my small MSF collection. I bought two Peppermint Patti's just in case. Hehe. I received this a long time ago like around October or November? I put all of them in my makeup storage and forgot all about it. I just swatched the two Amuse Sweet Heart Palette an hour ago. The pigmentation is not bad at all! I haven't touch or use the rest of the palettes. Maybe I should do a contest one day or Just give it away to some of my followers? or should I wait until I get 100 followers? I don't know.. Oh! I don't do swap or even think about swapping. I don't know much about it but I heard a lot of bad stuff from other bloggers. I never done contest before so I don't know. Let me know what you all think I should do. My Best Friends Wedding

My Best Friend is getting married and I'm so happy that she finally found her prince charming. We have been friends since high school! Damn.. so many years ago! I'm getting old :( I promise not to mention her name to protect her identity since she had a problem with stalkers before. HEHE. I mean you can tell she's gorgeous and tall (5'11)! She would get weird messages and crap from weird dudes. Some are even older than my Father! One time someone even stalked her while shopping at Walmart. He thought she was Katherine McPhee! Haha. I don't see it.. but I thought that was funny and scary at the same time. Ok enough of that!

This is what my bridesmaid dress looks like but in different colors. Instead of white is going to be like a "Maroon/Dark Reddish" color and the Ribbon/Belt/Train is going to be like a "Light Champagne" color. She wanted the colors to be Traditional. You know what i mean? I'm really bad on explaining things.. HAHA.

So she'll be ordering this dress at the end of April and we will receive it in 3 months! Yay! I have more time to lose weight! Hehe. Thank goodness I know a really good Tailor (MY MOTHER)! :) She can chop it off in pieces until I can fit in it!

I went to Bloomingdale's this past weekend to buy the MSF called "Refined" from SugarSweet Collection but it was SOLD OUT. I swatched "Perfect Topping" but its way too light for me so I decided to buy "Lollipop Loving" and "Saint Germain" lipstick instead.

I went crazy when I saw the new Dazzleglass collection. I swatched all of them! There's was one Dazzleglass that looks exactly like "Dazzlepuss" from HK kouture collection but I forgot the name of it. Funtabulous is so pretty I had to have it! I might try this with Fashion Mews lipstick. Smile is pretty too! I like it on top of "lollipop loving."

When I got home from the Mall, I ordered MSF "Refined" and "Peppermint Patti" Nail Polish at MACcosmetics.com. A few hours later, Peppermint Patti is SOLD OUT again! Hehe. I can't wait to get my package. :)

I use Revlon Colorstay Quads whenever I'm in a hurry. I think its easier for me to put my makeup on. I already have three of this quads (Sandstorm, Blushed Wines, Sterling Rose) and I have them for a while now. I bought two more to add in my collection. I decided to buy a bunch of prestige product since I don't own any. I always wanted to try stuff from this brand. The lipgloss is ok not bad at all. The eyeshadow Duos are way too sheer for me and I had a hard time swatching it. The eyeshadow singles is ok if you use it with a good base. I recommend using NYX JUMBO Pencil or MAC Shadesticks as a base for this eyeshadows. Urban Decay Primer Potion can't handle this. HEHE.

My friend Lenny is in love with Hello Kitty stuff so she wants to get the glosses. We search online and found out that Nordstrom is selling the kouture collection. While she was paying and talking to the MUA, I decided to look around and start swatching whatever I could find. hehe. Gosh! This eyeshadow are very pigmented as you can see from the picture. I didn't use any base at all when I swatched it. Its kinda messy to apply but I'm used to it since I use pigments almost everyday. I wore this eyeshadow using UDPP as a base and I like it. I wore it all day yesterday and I didn't have any problems with it. :)

I didn't get the MAC Hello Kitty Glitter liner called "Glitterpuss" because of this VS liner called "GOLD Crush." I think they look the same and Gold Crush is way cheaper than Glitterpuss. hehe. The only problem I have with this liner is that it takes a while to dry out but is still works.

I found this Milani Quad called "Wild Violets" for only $5.29 at Publix Supermarket. I love purple eyeshadow so I had to buy this quad. I swatched this eyeshadow using NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil called "MILK" as a base. I tried swatching this without a base but it was too sheer. I'm wearing it right now and I used UDPP (Urban Decay Primer Potion) as a base. I love it! =)

My friend Lenny and I went shopping yesterday. First, we went to the MAC PRO to see the HK collection. We bought the stuff we wanted to get and then we decided to get some lunch before we start shopping again. After eating lunch, we start to talk about how much we liked the HK collection so we decided to go back to MAC PRO to buy more stuff. We were going crazy because the MAC Hello Kitty items were selling out so fast. Some of the stuff we wanted were sold out so we decide to go to Macy's to check out their MAC. We did find what we were looking for but I forgot to buy the "On The Prowl" nail polish which is now SOLD OUT everywhere! =(

I'm so glad we went to MAC at Macy's because we had a great time with the two nicest MAC Makeup Artist. They help us a lot and they even let us play around with the entire HK Collection samples for 2 hours.

When we got home from the mall, We decided to go online to get more stuff at MACcosmetics.com. We ordered online the "Hello Kitty Soft Vanity Case" and the "Very Pink" Glitter. HEHE.

I'm obsess with MAKEUP and She's Obsess with HELLO KITTY! We are a perfect pair for this collection! HAHA. I'm really glad Lenny came with me because I had a great time with her.

UDPP or Urban Decay Primer Potion is the only eyeshadow base that I use. This UDDP that I'm using is a light nude color. Now, they have a new primer portion that they just release not too long ago called "Sin" which is like a champagne color with a little bit of shimmer on it. I would like to try it but I will stick with this one until I finish it.

This Sally Girl Quad is worst than the Sally Girl single but its ok is only a dollar each. I will never buy Sally Girl eyeshadows again because I think is a waste of money. I don't know if I want to waste my time to swatch this eyeshadows but I think I will do it later if I have extra time. The quad called "Power Trip" and "Lucky Love" are the eyeshadows that I didn't bother swatching since the other three quad I swatched was horrible.

I love the colors of this eyeshadows but it doesn't look right when I put it on. I had to put a lot of it to make the colors to show up. I wouldn't recommend this eyeshadows to wear outdoors because it doesn't last all day and the colors starts to look weird after an hour. I hate it! My experience with this eyeshadow was horrible and I would never use it again.

I bought this product to learn how to contour my face. I learn how to do it one day while watching one of the makeup gurus on YouTube. I forgot her name but I will try to post it here as soon as possible. She was really good too! Just few days ago one of my favorite makeup guru name Makeupbyrenren also did a contour video which became of my favorite video on YouTube. Not only did she teach how to contour your face but also show a lot of variety of products that you can use from MAC to drugstore brands.
